Vanessa Hicks began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Lynchburg, VA. Most recently, she was the Chief Public Defender in Arlington, VA. During her time as a Virginia criminal attorney, Ms. Hicks has worked on both adult and juvenile cases and argued Virginia criminal cases successfully in front of judges and juries. Ms. Hicks graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.
